Hi everyone, today I have a review for you, it's Innisfree 98% Natural Tint Balm in 1. This is a lip balm tint that is said to be similar to the Dior Lip Glow. Although it was not available at most of the Innisfree stores, I finally found it on sale at less known Innisfree store. Judging by how hard it was for me to find this product and how it was on sale for 50% off, I think they might be discontinuing this product. This product comes in two colors: 1 a natural pink and 2 a brighter fuschia pink.
I was so excited about this product, that I tried it as soon as I left the store.
Claims: "Enriched with 98% of natural origin ingredients"
Performance:
It has some similarites to the Dior Lip Glow - both are of a pink jelly texture that applies on with a bit of resistance and although they apply on sheer, they do eventually brighten into a natural pink with a bit of moisturized shine. They're both not sticky. That's about all there is to the similarities though.
This product didn't do it in the moisturizing department for me. It feels nice and smooth when I first apply it but then strangely as time passes, my lips feel tighter and drier than before I put the balm on. I don't feel the product sinking into my lips either. Once the top layer of moisture shine wears off, my lips truely feel tight and dry.
The color is really nice though. It gives me a deeper pink than the Dior. It stays on nicely and doesn't transfer at all thus truely leaving a tint.
One thing I absolutely can't stand is the scent. Some people might like it but to me it's like sour skittle. Every time I smell it, my mouth tingles as if expecting sour candies soon.
The Good:
- natural pink color
- tint is long lasting
The Bad
- makes my lips feel drier and tighter than before application
- moisture doesn't sink into the lips
- sour candy smell
Overall:
As a lip balm, I think this product definitely didn't meet my expectations but as a tint it's rather nice. However, I think there are much better lips balm tints out there than this, such as the Nature Republic Angel Lip Balm in 01 Peach.
