What's In My Beauty Pouch

Monday, September 28, 2015

As someone who who is passionate about beauty, I've accumulated quite a lot of makeup over the pass years. One of the ways I've come up with to stay aware of what I already own and to actually use it is to put things in my makeup pouch. Imagine a situation where you are in a rush and you didn't have time to get ready, one of the things you want to bring along is your makeup pouch right? This ensures that you have all that you need and it forces you to use the makeup that you have.

In my beauty pouch, I keep one of everything I need for a daily face routine. Even if I am not in a rush, I can just take this pouch out and I will have my essentials without messing through my collection. Once in a while I switch things out to ensure that I give all my makeup a chance to be used.

I got this pouch from a Sephora's holiday gift set a few years back.

Everything in my makeup pouch.

FACE
Etude House Face Blur: Although this seems to be bulky, it fits into the pouch without a problem. I like to use this when my skin is a bit dry. It adds moisture to ensure that my BB cream goes on flawlessly.

Innisfree Water Glow Cushion: Although this case is for the Ampoule Cushion, I've switched it out and placed my Innisfree Water Glow Cushion refill. As the weather is getting cooler these days, I can do without a powder on top of it.

Clio Apple Touching Cheek #5: For all the days I need a bit of contour, this is my go - to quick fix.

Tony Moly Cristal Blush #12: Long wearing blush.

Etude House Brow: My brows are quite bare without this staple product.

EYES
Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler: essential! I love this eyelash curler more than any that I've tried.

Tony Moly Circle Lens Mascara: It took me forever to find this mascara. Ever since I saw it in an InsiteTV show, I've been trying to find it through online shops. I've finally managed to find this in person at a Tony Moly Store!

Innisfree Glow Liquid Shadow: I love how this adds a pop of life for my eyes. It really makes my eyes glow without being too obvious. (Reviewed here).

K-Palette Tattoo Eyeliner: This is a very fine tip, black liquid eyeliner. It's absolutely fantastic because it won't fade, smudge, nor run. I believe the pink case is limited edition as it normally comes in a black tube. (Reviewed here).

The Face Shop Make Me Star Eyeliner: Shimmery brown pencil eyeliner.

LIPS
Missha M Glossy Lip Rouge (GCR03): Lip products are probably the items I switch out the most as my lip color depends on my mood. (Reviewed here.)

That's all I need! The only thing missing from my pouch would be an eyeshadow palette, but as I rarely apply eyeshadow, I don't bother putting that in.

I'd love to know what is in your pouch.

Thanks for reading!

  1. Yay, a pouch post! (and a pretty one, too!)
You're a cushion switcher, too! I always put in different refills (way cheaper...) so I'm constantly a bit confused at to which product is in which case... maybe I should design some name stickers lol. The summer collection cases by innisfree are so pretty - I nearly caved and bought one!
The Liquid Glow Shadow is a staple for me, too. So easy to use but still something a bit 'special'. Now I'm very curious about the Circle Lens Mascara and the Clio Dome!

    1. The Clio Apple is great for the summer or more humid weather. I find that it can get a bit dry in the winter ^^. As for the Circle Lens Mascara, its super cheap! I would say give it a try ^^
