Physician Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Gel Creamliner Trio (Brown Eyes)

Monday, November 25, 2013

Recently I opened my back up product after over a year of purchase and it was still creamy and useable...

This set is specifically for Brown eyes, but I'm pretty sure the colors are suitable for whatever color eyes.

Claims:
  • "unique gel creamliner in three eye enhancing shades for glamorous definition"
  • "long-wearing and water-resistent formula glides on effortlessly and provides the precise definition of liquid liner"
  • "Pro-eyeliner brush fro easy and accurate application"
  • "Hypo-allergenic, frangrance free, safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers, paraben free

Packaging: This product comes with three square pots in plastic cubes which can be stacked on top of each other. It comes with a:
  1. a purple - it's actually more of a true purple (like the lid on the packaging) than in the picture
  2. a black with purple shimmers - the shimmers are not noticeable on the eyes
  3. a deep brown
  4. a small useable brush (the brush is not in the picture because I lost it)
What I love about this product:
  • it's super creamy
  • it comes with a variety of colors: a purple, brown and black
  • it does not smudge
  • it also comes off easily with a makeup remover or a cleansing oil
  • Non-irritating and suitable for sensitive eyes
  • Good for natural makeup

What I don't like about this product:
  • The consistency of these gel pots can be a bit "watery" which can be a bit streaky when you swipe it on the eye. You can either reapply it or dot your liner across the lash line to prevent it from looking streaky.
  • The colors aren't that intense like my Innisfree Eco Gel Liner. It looks intense in the swatches but it comes off as more of natural line on the eyes if you know what I mean. This is personal preference.

Score: B+
I would definitely repurchase and recommend this product to people. The price and quantity is both there in this product. For $8-15 (CDN) for three eyeliner is definitely a bargain. Smudge and water resistant, long wearing as well as being suitable for sensitive eyes, it has all the things I really need in a gel liner.

  1. I've heard about this brand from a few bloggers before but too bad, it's not available here.
The gel liner really reminds me so much of 3CE by Stylenanda coz I wanted to try their gel liner. Especially the purple-red color you shown above, 3ce had a burgundy-like gel liner which seems so good.

    1. Hi Mizu Chan :D, I'm not sure if you've heard of a website called iherb.com before but they sell Physician's Formula products and ships free internationally. I haven't really tried anything from 3CE yet but the PF products are usually pretty good for sensitive eyes.
